My Two Grandmas!

Tummy Time

Somebody is loving his new tummy time matt. He can spin himself around in a circle and its the funniest thing I have seen. And he doesnt scream like he does when we just put him down on his tummy. Thanks Auntie Megan and Uncle Tony!

The best part of Christmas is the entertainment

Christmas - Round One

The McMahons sure do love baby Elliot!

Megan loves playing with baby Elliot in the infamous crystal room.

Unlce Bob likes Elliot's middle name too.

These are some pretty darn proud Aunties and Uncles! Tell them how good they look with a baby so Elliot can have a cousin soon. :)

Elliot loves to grocery shop with his Grammy

Happy Birthday Dad

Someone loves Taco Bell just like his Mom.

I think we found a new babysitter.

Happy Times!

What could've possibly gotten such a big smile from such a little guy?  Must be all the fun clowns he saw at great-grandma's house tonight!

Exhausted

Throwing up on his dad three times in a 24 hour time period can really tire a person out.

Underwater Adventure Land

Its like a mini disneyland, underrwater adventure land to Elliot. We just set up his play mat courtesy of aunt Deb and Uncle Ryan and he loves it. All the new sea toys he can stare at and randomly grab, so much fun for one little guy! We even watched Finding Nemo this week. He better grow up to be an Oceanographer and not just a surf bum in Hawaii after all this oceanic influence.

Christmas arts and crafts

You know I am starting to get more sleep when I can bust out the arts and crafts again! I just finished making Elliot's Christmas Stocking and hung it by the Chimney with care! I hope Santa fills it up for him this year.

Party time

So today we met lots of new friends at mommy and me class. It was enlightening to hang out with so many babies (and very tired mommies) all the same age. Of course Elliot was the cutest baby there. :) Then we did some shopping and even made our first trip to the mall! But all that great productive time out for mommy, with lots of good sleeping in the car seat, meant that someone did not want to go to bed last night at all!! He stayed up partying with mom till she passed out and then partied on with dad some more.

But when we look at how darn cute he is, its really all worth it!

Sleepy Time

This is what Elliot looks like when he's sleeping.  Which doesn't happen as often as we'd like.

Dad Finally Makes An Appearance

Here's Elliot, hanging out with his dad and his big furry brother Emmet.

Who knew Diapers could explode!

Apparently in my sleep deprived state, I must have forgotten to change Elliot's diaper at our 3am feeding. Because when it came time to change him at 6am, I opened up his sleeper jammies to discover it looked like a snow globe had exploded! Who knew that if a diaper got too full it would just burst. And what sort of space aged material are diapers made of anyway??? I have never seen anything like this stuff, tiny pebbles of fuzz. And boy once they are out they are impossible to clean up. The little guy had to have a bath - just what we both want to do at 6am! Parenting lesson #62 learned today.

35 weeks

For those of you who missed how HUGE I was, this was at 35 weeks. I cannot imagine how big I would have been if he had gone full term! I can't say I miss that belly or everyone staring at me everywhere I went.
Four generations of Callahans! Pretty neat. And check out my huge feet!
